I am heading to Vegas Baby!!!!

What a great week I have had and it isn't even over yet. I may not be cruising anywhere exotic right now, but home is the best place ever at the moment. Not only did I get to go to two Mariner games, but I got to go to the Mariners game were Ken Griffey Jr. came back. It was really good to see him back here even if it wasn't in a Mariners uniform. Then I got to go golfing with Chad and Nick. We were going to go golfing for real which I hate to admit I am not the greatest golfer, but Chad got called in to work so we had to settle for mini-golf. Mini-golf is another matter. I beat Chad and Nick by two strokes, so really it was close all around. After mini-golf we hit some balls in the batting cages. Oh I haven't done that for ages it was so much fun. It makes me miss fast pitch. I have decided that when I am settled for awhile I am going to join a softball league.

Then yesterday Roxy and I had the chance to go to a private Sonics Draft Party which wasn't even open to the public. We got hooked up with a bunch of free stuff and got to see first hand the first round pick of the Sonics. We also found out that our beloved Ray, Ray got traded, sad times.

My week isn't over yet, I am so excited I am heading to Vegas in two days with two of my bestest friends, Leif and Roxy. It is going to be CRAZY!!!!

Katie go to Vegas

I have now been home a week and it has felt so good to see my friends and family. I know I will always have a good time with my friends back home and Saturday was no exception. I went with Katie and Leif to see Gwen Stefani in concert. We of course had the lawn which in turn means nose bleed section, but it was still fun. This is the best shot I could get, but if you look real close the lettering in red says wind it up. This is the end of her concert. No that isn't a bunch of ants it is Gwen with her dancers. Overall it was a good concert we probably spent more time in the car because of traffic, but we had fun yelling at people out the window and watching weird people outside the window waiting for traffic to move along. I guess you would have had to been there, but it was fun take my word for it. Oh and the coolest thing ever was they had this thing if you text messaged a message you could get it on the big screen. So I text "Katie go to Vegas" and it appeared on the big screen, it was pretty cool.
