Seaotter Quest

Sitka, Alaska yeah! This past week I was able to go on a seaotter quest. That just meant that I got to go on a little boat and watch for wildlife. It was pretty neat though. I saw some bald eagles, sea otters, whales and seals.

Independence Day for Indonesia

Independence Day=Crew Party.

Oh man I love crew parties they are always so much fun because I get to party with people who I normally wouldn't be able to and of course free alcohol and a live band it can't get better than that. However this crew party was a little different than most.

Trouble was a brewing. Somehow a guest found this area and I noticed as did other people that he was not crew. Ryan and I both talked to him I even said "you have guts to come in here." I didn't want to get involved, but another guy asked him to leave and the guest wouldn't. The guest got physical and started fighting with the crew and flat out just refused to leave. It was really pathetic. I mean come on ha, you got in cool, but when you are asked to leave, just leave. Here I am with Jose and Felipe. Felipe was on the Zuiderdam with me and Jose is just cool.

So many rumors went around the ship as to how Beath hurt herself, but the truth of the matter was she slipped and fell simple as that. She was not drunk she just fell. One such rumor was the guest knocked her down. Another was he flung a glass at her, but nope she just fell and blood started gushing everywhere it was pretty gross.

Crazy Random Week

So it has been one of those weeks. I don't know what to expect anymore. I found out that my current roomate on the ship is my bestfriends cousin. They haven't seen each other in 10 years, so we all had lunch together on Friday.

Then on Juneau day it was Adams birthday. I unfortunatley couldn't get off the ship, but while greeting people at the doors I was able to switch with Beath so I could get off the ship in the eventing.

Of course more partying in the crew bar was to follow. I drank way too much this night and the next day was difficult. I was even having problems playing ring toss how bad is that? Top: Me, David. Bottom: Lori, Adam and Bradie.

So on country night the night right after Juneau I was feeling better by around 3 pm and my game was back on. We had a rockin' good time and partied it up some more.

Most of the time I do really love this job.

Party Crasher

My first time in Victoria while on board the MS Amsterdam Tara invited me to go on a shore excursion with her. We ended up doing the wine and chocolate excursion. We wined and dined and I even got to try ice wine. It was a nice little tour for free, but I wouldn't pay for it that is for sure, he, he.

After the tour we went into town and had dinner at the noodle box and then meet up with Kat and David or should I say we crashed their pub crawl tour. By the time we got there everyone had quite a bit of alcohol and were more than happy to have Tara and I tag along. All of the guests of the group were really cool and on my night off I decided to go up to the Crows Nest just to hang out with them some more.


On another note I have 6 more weeks in Alaska. Woo Hoo!
